The Bachelor of Surgery certificate is awarded in accordance with the University regulations for Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degrees.
To allow students the opportunity to graduate at a Congregation ceremony (either in person or in absence) candidates are given one calendar year from the B.Chir. award to make arrangements with their College to graduate and receive the M.B.
If the M.B. is not conferred within the calendar year this will be automatically awarded on the anniversary of the B.Chir. award.
Please note that it is not possible to issue copies the degree certificate for the M.B. award until it has been formally conferred in accordance with the above.
