Examination Marks by paper missing:
Tripos (undergraduate) mark books have only been collected for inclusion on official transcripts since 2003, and there are gaps in some subjects as it was not a requirement for all departments to provide this at the time.
If your transcript does not contain the individual paper marks it will still contain titles of examination paper sat and the overall class obtained for each Part.
Marks for other examinations, have been attached to records after this date. For example, marks for MPhil exams have only been collected since 2006.
If you require a breakdown of marks by paper you should contact your College (Tutorial Office) or Department directly for a suitable course statement which you can then use as supplementary material alongside your University Official Transcript.

Missing Degree Award:
- Please check your self-service/ESS account for record and transcript updates. If you have recently graduated, please note that it may take up to 10 working days for this to be reflected on central records.
- Postgraduate Doctorate/Masters – if you have received full degree approval, but no degree conferred, you will need to ensure that you have attended a graduation ceremony either in person or in absence. Until such time you will not hold the degree. If you need to arrange graduation, please contact your College directly for further information.
If you believe you have graduated however please submit a request to our team so we may investigate further.
